I keep having dreams where I become lucid for a moment, and then I get excited and mention to someone else in my dream that we are, in fact, in a dream… and instead of having an amazing time together, I allow the other person to convince me that I’m either a.) drunk or b.) crazy. I then spend the rest of the dream in a hyper-aware blur where I don’t recognize that I’m in control of the dream’s outcome but I do realize the inherent strangeness of the events, and that my body feels all buzzy and unpredictable.

I guess my need for rest is outweighing my curiosity? Next time I’m just going to be like, “Fuck you, I may be drunk, but I can fly,” and take off into the sunset/alternate universe/sea of triangles
